Getchell & Garborg Remodelers, Inc. is a licensed general building contractor located in San Juan Capistrano, CA with a portfolio of hundreds of successful residential remodeling projects in the Orange County beach cities area since 1990.

Kurt Getchell
Kurt Getchell

Kurt runs the office and will return your phone calls and emails.  He is responsible for preparing project specifications and estimates, as well as design and drawing preparation.  Kurt has 30+ years experience in home building, residential remodeling, estimating, and contracting.

Kurt and Neil founded Getchell & Garborg Remodelers in 2000.

Neil Garborg
Neil Garborg

Neil is the on-site project superintendent and is responsible for managing your project from day one through completion.  Neil has 30+ years experience in home building, cabinet making, and general contracting.  Neil got his start in the trades remodeling and building homes in San Clemente with his father Tormod Garborg.

Bruce Potter
Bruce Potter

Bruce is lead carpenter and production supervisor.  He has 30+ years experience in the building trades, and is especially skilled at carpentry, drywall, painting, and electric work.  He gets things done.

Bruce has been an integral part of our team from the beginning, back in the early 1990's.
